From the early days of talent shows and showcases up and down the country it was inevitable that Paul Rogers would grow with time and experience as he built a name for himself on the amateur scene to become one of the best, new, young, comics on the mainstream circuit - a long way from being a fork lift truck driver and builders labourer.

In order to gain further experience in his new career path, Paul successfully auditioned to become a Butlins redcoat. With vocals now added to his act, Paul used every available opportunity to maximise stage craft and presentation enjoying a full summer season in 1996. What better apprenticeship is there than to learn from the life as a red!!

He then went on to appear in summer season at the Theatre Royal, Margate, and has now played many of the countries top theatres, clubs and venues such as: The Circus Tavern, Casino Caberet Rooms, Merlins Cabaret Showbar, Winter Gardens - Margate, Congress Theatre - Eastbourne and has been lucky enough to work along the Costa Del Sol over the past few years. Work and golf doesn't seem so bad does it!!

Paul has also starred on the same bill with acts such as: Jimmy Jones, Chas & Dave, Frank Carson, Duncan Norvelle, The Bachelors, Bobby Davro, Mick Miller and also with many of the countries top tribute acts and bands along with fellow comedians and friends in the shape of: Ian Irving, Russ Williams, Mick Pugh, Adger Brown and many many, more. Quote Jimmy Jones "So you're a new comedian Paul? Well you're halfway there son, your a funny looking f***er!!"

Paul is a keen golfer and football nut, playing in charity matches wherever possible. Before getting into comedy, Paul had trials with several league clubs! He is a member of the Comedians Golf Society raising money for charitable and worthy causes. He continues to establish himself as one of the new faces on the circuit with a show always slightly different from others. A refreshing change to see a young comic not only giving you great gags but sketches, stunts, auidence interaction and a voice many vocalists would die for!

With Pauls infectious smile and unique delivery it is clear why he is being hailed as
"A breath of fresh air in the entertainment business". Sometimes saucy, definitely cheeky but never offensive. Not an act for adults, more of an act for the grown ups. With the
re-emergance of fresh, young entertainers coming back to our screens it is only a matter of time before Paul is the name on everyone's lips.
